In 2015, Egypt was facing a severe energy cutout. Thus, the government launched an emergency plan to overcome its energy problem. The emergency plan was to deliver power to the grid, in a very short period of time; through establishing new Power Plants on fast track basis. ELSEWEDY Electric PSP contributed to such an amazing cause, and took two Power Plants and their substations. ELSEWEDY struck the world records, and achieved success in the following:
Delivered the first fast track project, in Egypt
The usage of Air freight in this project
Delivered power to the grid in 159 days
Delivered Electricity for 620,000 Egyptian homes
Beni Suef 4800 MW Power Plant
ELSEWEDY Electric PSP in 2015, took one of Egypt’s Mega projects, Beni Suef 4800 MW power plant. The achievements achieved in Beni Suef are numerous.

Installed 6 Main and 6 Main Auxiliary Transformers.
Installed 6 gas turbines including all auxiliaries
Erected 10,150,000 Kg of Steel structure
